Originally produced for Scienceline.org, "Brainwave: Common Senses" was an art exhibit on display at New York City's Exit Art gallery in the spring of 2008. The pieces depict various areas of neuroscience research, touching on the themes of memory, perception and emotion. Highlights include: sculptures of the brain, butterflies superimposed onto brain scan images, 3-D Rorschach ink blot tests and a robot whose motion is guided by the rapid eye movements of his sleeping creator.
